We will be officially launching our DIY store builder by early of October. 

In this update, we will go through with you what you can expect in the store builder and what is the potential impact to your store.

All in all – here is why we are launching the DIY store builder:

To empower sellers the flexibility to control, design and customize your store exactly the way you want

While creating this store builder, we understand that not all sellers are proficient with codings and hence we came up with several templates (work in progress) that allows you to enable sections based on your preference & proficiency.

All the templates are completely customizable, meaning you can change the HTML to create a unique brand and user experience.  These templates are built for you to control, edit, and change at will any time.

So without further ado, let’s dive into the store builder.

Control and Customize Your Store

With the store builder, you will be able to do feature brands and promotions that you want to highlight in your store. This will serve as a navigation to direct your potential buyers straight to the products.

With this, you will be owning your own branded store with the ability to customize based on your liking.

Here are a few examples that you can refer to:

Enable Sections Based On Your Preference

With this store builder, you not only can design the banners based on your preference, you can also enable and disable sections as you see fit. Want a slider section? Just enable it. Find HTML too difficult to manage? Just disable it.

All in all, you will have several fields such as:

• Slider
• 2 HTML sections
• Product section
• Location map

All of these tools in the store builder that can be customized based on your preference, best of all, you can enable them based on your liking.

For Advanced Users – Advanced HTML Template

Want more customization? Go for other advanced templates where you can customize more based on HTML. While this is still a work in progress, basically there will be an additional 3 templates that are designed for more HTML proficient sellers to customize their store.

Guidelines To Share With You

As we are developing the store builder, we have come across several sizes and dimensions that work best for each section. Once we have finalize on the dimensions and guidelines, we will be sharing with you to help you transition to the new store builder.
